Installed the rear interior end cap today and gave it a polish too. Great to have the first piece back in the interior! Only been two and half years since I took it out. I was actually surprised at how well it lined back up with the old rivet holes.
Ooooo I LOVE that whale endcap ! That's the first one I've seen polished up - beautiful.
Rather weird that its 11 panels on the inside & 13 on the outside. Its great when they go back in; the whole trailer seems to get its strength & rigidity back.
Thanks Chris, The whale tail is actually the same on the outside. The front has 13 inside and out. It is great to finally put a piece back in, even if it is only one.
Hi Doug I think I must be careful posting after a glass (or two) of wine as I clearly can't even count ! Its a 9 panel endcap ! I see from your older photos that she does have a 13 panel end and a 9 panel end - clearly on the Airstream cusp.
