A project in waiting!
Took a trip with and airstream buddy Brad and my Dad today.
She is in pretty tough shape but I would be to if I sat in the north woods for decades!
Hopefully I can fix her up!
CLIPPER
Mouse patrol, lots of good smells!
A few useable cabinets inside otherwise just nasty!
Not much left of the frame
She maybe did a little traveling!
In 1991 she was bought for $250
This trailer is amazing with a lift on front and a winch! borrowed from a friend.
The clipper will make a nice lawn ornament for now. And keep Nellie company
Wow! What a great project! I have to be careful as I get easily side tracked. One project at a time for me.
ReplyDeleteI definitely get distracted easily also but I like having a variety of projects around to pick from and now that the Cruiser is almost usable the pressure will be off. I can take my time on the next one!
DeleteDoug,You do not leave it, a follower is hardly ready, the next comes!!!! Great, I admire you for your courage!
ReplyDeleteWerner
Werner, I don't know if there is any courage involved or just insanity! My wife and friends are just shaking there heads and wondering if they should seek help for me!
DeleteLove the Clipper ! Now that's a project and a half.
ReplyDeleteI'll look forward to a Silver Streak blog in due course.
Chris
wow, i admire your ambition. how is the clipper coming along? any interest in selling it?
ReplyDeleteSorry Eric, regrettably I did sell it, it would have been a fun project. This one was in really tough shape. Chances are that I will not find another but I'm always looking. Good luck in your search!
